Our design philosophy merges the Contemporary with the Classic.
Using antique furnishings in a modern environment adds a special warmth and refinement to a home. You get the best of both worlds: the latest technology and function, with the class and dignity of the Old World.
The Mews In Dublin - On the left are photos from “The Mews In Dublin”, a redesigned and rebuilt mews from the 18th century,
First is The Entryway, where your impression is one of space and light. Featured in the foreground is a Bergere chair with hand embroidered tapestry pillows. Against the paneled walls is a XIX century Buffet with a marble top, which works beautifully against the modern staircase.
The Library at the top of the stairs is suspended over the Main Room. It features large built-in bookcases on each side of a picture gallery, plus a lectern.
Looking Down at the Main Room, we see the Dining Area and Water Garden. The sofa is Georgian with silk and linen upholstery. The rug is antique.
The Guest Bathroom features a modern glass shower and porcelain sink contrasted with a French country cabinet in cherry wood.
The Master Bedroom has an antique Italian headboard, hand carved with angels. The fabric is French vintage. The chest of drawers is XIX Italian silver leaf.
The Breakfast Nook has a French Directoire Buffet and Louis XVI came chairs and overlooks the Garden.
The Kitchen Area features modules by Bulthaup including a range top, sink, and an extractor. Cutting edge convenience in an historic setting.
