A Home in Pacific Palisades
Shown at left is a project recently completed in Southern California.
First is The Library, featuring an antique French Partners Desk with a green painted top. The chair is a swiveling French Vintage chair upholstered in carmel leather with casters. The sofa is contemporary, and upholstered in fine woolen linen.
The Living Room has a pair of button backed sofas in neutral linen. The chair on the left is French XIX century “Bon Femme” in an embroidered floral fabric. The chair on the right is an antique Provencal wing back in painted walnut. The coffee table is a contemporary hybrid with an antique walnut top and an iron base.
The Dining Room chandelier is French Directoire Period with large intricate crystals and 18 lights. The buffet is French Provencal with original glass, and interior lighting has been added. The mirror is a gold leaf with elaborate carvings.
The Kitchen has a pair of fabulous suspended street lights from Toulouse with weathered verdigris and etched glass.
The Hallway features an antique crystal and bronze chandelier converted from candles to electricity. The bench is a vintage French Country Harvest piece from Bordeaux.
The Entryway includes a Trimeau Mirror from Southern France with a complex bas-relief carving in an ash finish. Below that is a console with 4 wood pillars.
